Imran was accused by the ISI chief
ISI chief Nadeem Anjum, without naming Imran Khan, said that the offer was made to me. He (General Bajwa) rejected it as he wanted the institution to move from a controversial role to a constitutional role. Imran Khan told 92News TV on Thursday that he had told the army chief that he could do so if the opposition offered an extension, The Express Tribune newspaper reported.
Imran said – I had warned Bajwa
He said that I had repeatedly warned General Bajwa that if this no-confidence motion is passed, it will have a direct impact on the economy and no one will be able to control it. Imran Khan said that he also asked the top leadership of the army that if they were non-political then why did they hold a press conference to discuss political topics.

Lt Gen Anjum addressed the first press conference in the history of Pakistan as an ISI chief on Thursday. Imran Khan, in a video statement on the eve of the rally towards the federal capital and addressing his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, urged people to join the movement for the country’s real independence.
