Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden’s sci-fi spy series ‘Citadel’ has released on the OTT platform. This Russo Brothers series was being discussed for the last several months. Director Joe and Anthony of ‘Captain America’ and ‘Avengers’ are calling this new series as a match for James Bond. The trailer of the series received a very good response. Two episodes of the series are streaming. A new episode will be streamed every Friday thereafter. Thus the entire series will be on OTT till 26 May 2023.
The story of ‘Citadel’ web series
Citadel is an independent intelligence agency that does not work for any particular country. This agency is dedicated to the security of the people of any country on earth. Eight years prior to where the story of the series begins, the Citadel was destroyed by a powerful syndicate, Monikor. When the Citadel was destroyed, its agents were completely brain-wiped. It means they forget everything and start living with a new identity. The basic mantra of Citadel is ‘Protecting all for the good of the world to the last in line’. On a set-up mission, two top agents of Citadel Nadia Singh (Priyanka Chopra) and Mason (Richard Kane) are attacked by suicide. Both barely survive it. Their memories are erased to protect their secrets. The story picks up eight years later, when an associate of the Syndicate enlists the help of Nadia and Mason to destroy Monikor. But both these agents have a disease of forgetting. Will they be able to succeed in this mission then?

Review of ‘Citadel’ web series
