Now, you must be wondering why to make tomato ketchup at home when it is easily available at stores. Homemade tomato ketchup is preservative free which makes it healthier to eat. This special recipe has been shared by food vlogger Parul on her YouTube channel ‘Cook with Parul’. to keep track.

Here’s how to make tomato ketchup at home:

To make tomato chutney, first wash the tomatoes, clean them and cut them into small pieces. Now add all the tomatoes, ginger, garlic cloves, chopped onions, black pepper, cloves and cinnamon in a pan. Add beetroot, red chili and some water to it.

Now add all the ingredients and cook for some time. After about half an hour, remove the cinnamon stick, black pepper and cloves from the sauce mixture and let it cool. Then put this mixture in a grinding jar and make a fine paste. Strain the paste with the help of a sieve.

Put the pan on the gas again, add prepared chutney, salt, Kashmiri red chili powder and mix everything well. This. Add sugar, vinegar and mix. Cook till you get the desired consistency.

How To Store Tomato Ketchup At Home:

Clean a glass jar and pat it dry. Then transfer the ketchup to it when it cools down. You can store this ketchup in the refrigerator for about 1.5 months.
