All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi said on Friday that the BJP cannot be stopped by compromising on ideology and the parties will have to fight on the basis of ideology only.
Responding to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s call for opposition unity, AIMIM chief Owaisi said in a press conference, ‘To stop BJP in 2024, you have to stop it on the basis of ideology. You cannot stop BJP by compromising on ideology. to show the difference. Why is the CM not going to Madrasa Azija in Bihar? This is the historical madrasa where 4500 manuscripts including Quran e Kareem are burnt. Unless you fight the BJP ideologically, you cannot stop them.”
He further said that Muslim children in the country are forced to study in madrassas as the BJP government at the Center has limited the pre-matric fellowship to class 9th and 10th only.
The Finance Minister said that the Muslim population is increasing in the country, it is better than Pakistan. In America, he said that fellowship is given here. The Kundu committee report submitted to the Modi government in 2014 stated that Muslim community dropout starts from primary class.
“Report of National Education Policy came which says that school zones should be opened in Muslim areas. The findings of the report also mention that government schools are not open in Muslim areas. You are not opening schools and so children study in madrassas. UPA government had pre-matric scholarship but Modi government ran it for 8 years and suddenly they remembered the Right to Education Act and closed it. The findings are that Muslims don’t study and are dropouts because they have Don’t have money to educate yourself.
Asaduddin Owaisi also mentioned that Telangana KCR’s tribute to BR Ambedkar by unveiling his 125 feet statue is a message to all those who want to undermine the Constitution of India.
“A positive and strong message has been given by KCR to all those people who are trying to weaken the Constitution of India and want to end the basic structure of the Constitution of India. Today’s function was organized by Telangana Govt. Where he had invited everyone. BJP was invited as it was not a political platform. We don’t have anything personal against him. Even if there are political differences, respect is always there.
