There will be relief from the heat soon, hail will fall with torrential rain in one or two days in these states

New Delhi: Many parts of the country are currently experiencing scorching heat. It has become difficult for people to stay both indoors and outdoors. In some places, the condition of people has worsened due to the heat wave. However, now people will get relief from this intense heat in few days. Especially in many places of North India, the weather is predicted to change within a day or two. According to the Meteorological Department, the Western Disturbance will bring heavy rains to the states of Northwest India by May 26. So, an alert of heavy winds and storms along with rain has been given in the north-eastern states till May 26.

Heavy rain alert in these states
According to IMD, strong winds, thunderstorms, lightning are likely to occur in the Western Himalayan region. Heavy rain alert has been issued in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and North Rajasthan on 24th and 25th. While Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, northeastern areas of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh are predicted to receive heavy rain on May 24.

The effect of the heat wave is over
According to meteorologist RK Jena Mani, the effects of the heat wave will end by Wednesday (May 24) across North India. Temperatures will drop and clouds will cover. He said that Orange Alert has been issued in Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Chandigarh due to hail, storm and rain. Heavy rain is likely in the hilly areas for the next 2-3 days. East India is also likely to experience storms.

Rain is also forecast in the northern states
As for North India, Meghalaya and Assam are likely to receive light to moderate rains for the next three days. So, Mizoram and Tripura will receive heavy rains between May 24 and 26. Talking about East India, it will rain in West Bengal, Sikkim for the next three days. A heavy rain alert has been given in Bihar on May 24-25. Apart from that, the possibility of hailstorm has been expressed in Jharkhand on May 24-25, Sikkim on May 24. There is a rain alert in Kerala on May 24.
