Swara Bhaskar – Fahad Zirar Ahmed

Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar took to social media yesterday to announce her marriage to Samajwadi Party leader Fahad Zirar Ahmed. The two met on stage during a protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in January 2020. The couple announced their wedding after keeping it a secret for over a month. Swara Bhaskar, who labeled herself as “Twitter Paste”, and the socialist leader were posed as political activists in a video shared on social media. It was revealed that the two were initially linked in January 2020, “apparently at a protest.”

Ayesha Takia – Farhan Azmi

Ayesha Takia, who shot to fame after her debut film ‘Tarzan the Wonder Car’ in 2004, married her boyfriend Farhan Azmi in 2009, who is the son of Abu Asim Azmi, a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. Following his father’s footsteps, he joined the Samajwadi Party and became the state president of the youth cell (the party’s youth wing) in 2014. He worked on various projects like youth empowerment, women safety and environment protection. Although Mr Azmi resigned from his post in 2018, he continued to serve the party. Together, the couple has a nine-year-old son.

Navneet Kaur Rana – Ravi Rana

Former actress Navneet Kaur Rana predominantly worked in Telugu films. After taking a break from her acting career, she married independent MLA Ravi Rana on 3 February 2011 in Amravati, Maharashtra in a mass wedding in the presence of several political leaders. In the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, the independent politician currently represents Badnera (Assembly seat) in Amravati district in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. The couple has two children.

Radhika Kumaraswamy- HD Kumaraswamy

Kannada actress Radhika Kumaraswamy married former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy in 2006. It is noteworthy that this is the second marriage of the politician.
