Roger Michael Humphrey Binny Be the new President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Roger Binny was appointed as the 36th President of BCCI at the annual board meeting held in Mumbai on Tuesday. He will replace Sourav Ganguly. Binny has been elected unopposed for the post of president. Let us tell you that Roger Binny has been a part of the 1983 World Cup winning team. Roger Binny, 67, was born on 19 July 1955 in Bangalore. Roger Binny was the first Anglo Indian player of Team India. He took the most wickets in the 1983 World Cup. Roger Binny took 18 wickets in 8 matches giving 336 runs. In which he also took 4 wickets once. In the match against Australia, Roger Binny took four wickets for 29 runs in 8 overs. Apart from Binny, Madan Lal also took 4 wickets. On the basis of the deadly bowling of both, India defeated Australia by 118 runs in that match.
Roger Michael Humphrey Binny made coaching his career after retirement from cricket. He also gave India two star players in his coaching. In 2000, when Team India won the Under-19 World Cup in the presence of Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif, Roger Binny was the coach of that team.
