Ram Gopal Varma tweeted several tweets about the Sudipto Sen-directed film. In the first tweet, he writes, ‘We are so comfortable lying to others and to ourselves that we are surprised when someone shows us the truth. This explains the death-like silence of Bollywood on The Kerala Story.
In the next tweet, Ramgopal Varma said, “The Kerala Story is a beautiful looking glass of horror that shows the dead face of mainstream Bollywood in all its ugliness.”
The director further wrote, ‘The Kerala Story will haunt every corporate house and every story discussion room in Bollywood like a mysterious fog.’
