Rajneesh Duggal was busy shooting for the daily soap coincidence For the last three months, but the show suddenly stopped. The actor, who plays one of the main characters in the show, admitted that he was not prepared for this to happen.
He further added, “I felt a bit sad and shocked, but one needs to take such things with a pinch of salt and move on in life.” It was completely the decision of the producer and the channel. The lead actors were not ready for a leap if any. But what I’m assuming is that it was a channel call — something we learned. Leaving everything else aside, doing a daily soap was a great experience.”
For any actor, working in a daily soap takes up most of their time, and does not give them the freedom to sign another project in between. When asked if this sudden decision affected his later work, Duggal said, “I gave up a lot of things that were coming my way. I could not even see them because you could not believe that your date is free. But luckily I had completed three to four projects before joining [show], Also, I was in talks for a few projects. but the minute i found out coincidence Was going off air, I quickly took them. I have started shooting and things are fine.”
That being said, such incidents are not made 1920 The actor feels insecure, but he mentions that “it gets a little awkward because it’s in someone else’s hands. You feel like you’re stuck for a while but you have to quickly move on to the next.”
And it’s something Duggal says he’s learned over the years he’s spent in the entertainment industry. “Instead of sitting on one thing and regretting, ‘Oh man, yeh kya ho gaya’ and procrastinating, it is best to move on quickly. And the good, the bad, the ugly… whatever it was, you gave your best. You can’t stick to it. I believe that inaction is fatal. Better move on.”
There is one more special thing that he learned from the sudden closure of the show. “Now, before signing a project, I would need confirmation of whether the series is finite or infinite. If it is the latter, I would need some kind of contract for at least a year or two. Will be required,” the actor has worked across all mediums in films, OTT and television.
