Told the former home minister a traitor
Former interior minister and dissident leader of the Pakistan People’s Party, Etejaz Ehsan, said this week that the army helped the Sharif family break free from corruption cases. Ehsan had said, “Bajwa (Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa) sahib has saved them (Sharif family) from conviction in the cases and they have committed a big crime.” Reacting to Ehsan’s remarks, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said Ehsan was a “traitor” and made the remarks out of personal frustration.
