Bengaluru:
India’s top carmaker Maruti Suzuki today said it plans to increase the price of its vehicles in January, driven by continued cost pressures due to inflation and recent regulatory requirements.
“While the company makes maximum efforts to reduce costs and partially offset the increase, it has become imperative to have some impact through increase in prices,” the company said in a statement.
Maruti did not say by how much it plans to increase the prices.
