Hence, we retain the nutty taste similar to besan and skip the frying part.

Besan is rich in soluble fiber and protein and is also good for diabetics as it has a low glycemic index. All these qualities inherent in this snack make it a good option for a weight loss diet. The recipe for this healthy gram flour pakoda was shared by dietician Shikha Kumari on her Instagram page. Our eyes become moist just after seeing the prepared dumplings in the video of the post. The best thing about this recipe is that it is quick and easy to make. Just mix everything together and fry on the pan. To make pakora batter, mix gram flour, green chillies, chopped onions together and add salt, paprika powder, carom seeds powder and turmeric powder. Make sure it is of dense consistency. Then spread some ghee on the pan, make small balls from the batter and roast it on the pan till it turns golden brown from both the sides. Crunchy and crunchy pakodas will be ready in no time.
