Krishna, who was a part of The Kapil Sharma Show, did not return for the third season last year. Among the regulars, Kapil Sharma was seen as Kappu Sharma and Sumona Chakraborty as his wife Bindu. Chandan Prabhakar, Kappu’s friend Chandan and Kiku Sharda were also seen in the third season. The show returned on Sony TV on September 10 last year.
Speaking to The Indian Express, Krishna said, “I love Kapil, I love the show. He is a great talent, he is like a friend and brother who has taken such good care of me over the years. There were people who used to tell me that he has changed, attitude has come, don’t attend his shows. But let us tell you that this person is a very hardworking artist. The way he does comedy, stands up and carries the team along, it is not an easy task. It becomes really difficult for us to create new content after doing this for years. You ask yourself ‘Ab Naya Kya (What can be new)?’ However, the man and the show are doing something different and making people laugh every single time. It’s a good show.”
Talking about Sony TV and Kapil, Krishna said, “I really want to work with him and I am sure we will work something out. I really respect Kapil and I think he is my best friend.” Will say the same about. Hum bolsoon saath saath aayenge (We will be back together very soon). I really miss him and the team. I love Kiku Sharda. They are such wonderful people. Even That when things don’t work out with Sony, they are also my family. I have been on the channel for so long, it is like my own home. As they say, ‘subah ka bhula agar sham ko ghar aajaye, to usde bhula’ Say no’. I will also come back then.
Last year, when Krishna was asked about not being a part of his show, he had told reporters, “No one, we are going to Australia together. Kapil and I don’t know what to regret.” It will happen.” Not an issue. I love him, he loves me. Mera bhi show hai woh, I will be back again. No problem. I love him, he loves me. This is my show too and I will be back again).”
