There is a lot of debate these days on the issue of gay marriage. Social media users are also reacting a lot on the matter of giving legal recognition to Same Sex Marriage and meanwhile Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has made long tweets on this. Kangana Ranaut has written in her tweet that keep the sexual preference till the bed and do not display it everywhere. Kangana Ranaut’s tweets are becoming increasingly viral.
gender only matters to you
Kangana Ranaut wrote in her first tweet, ‘Whether you are a man / woman / anything else, your gender is of no importance to anyone except you, please understand. In today’s time we don’t even use words like actresses or women directors, we call them actors and directors. What you do in the world defines you, not what you do in bed. Keep your sexual preferences to bed and don’t flaunt it everywhere, don’t flaunt them as your identity card or medal.’
Don’t walk around with a knife…
Kangana further writes in the tweet, ‘The most important thing is not to go around with a knife to cut the throat of everyone who does not agree with your gender. I am saying again that your gender is not your identity, don’t make it that way. I am a woman from rural area and life has not given me any concessions. I had to make my way in a world of actors, film directors, producers and writers, never to judge people through the lens of gender or any other physical characteristics. You know what happened to those who considered Kangana just a woman. They were in for a big surprise because I’m not, I never see myself or anyone else that way.’
I don’t go that far if…
At the end of her second tweet, Kangana wrote, ‘ I have always been among people, people’s abilities – strength, only people not man, male, homo, hetero, physically strong or weak. I would not have come this far in life if I would have judged people like this and many more. Why are you wasting your time on the physicality of the people around you. Please understand that if you have such a limited view and perception about the world then you will not go very far…….and those who do not judge others will never judge themselves….so Free yourself from the thought of gender or any other limiting notions….rise and shine as who you are and the dharma says you are the god who is beyond the physical in a completely divine way…all the best. ‘
