10 passengers died
According to the police, the bus accident took place near Jajjar Kotli, about 15 km from Katra in Jammu district. DC Avni Lavasa of Jammu said that 10 people have already died in this accident and four passengers are seriously injured. The injured have been sent to hospital for treatment. While other passengers have been rescued. This bus was going from Amritsar to Katra.
Injured admitted to GMC Jammu
The seriously injured people were shifted to GMC Jammu, police said. 12 others have been recruited at local public health centres. Police said that no information is yet available about how the incident took place. However, further action has been taken by filing a case in this matter. Passengers are also being questioned. The bus was white and pink in color and had Prince Travels written on it.

Three incidents in fifteen days
Importantly, last week a bus full of passengers overturned on the Srinagar Jammu National Highway in South Kashmir’s Barsu Awantipore. Five people were injured in this accident. These tourists were from Kolkata. In another mishap, a speeding truck hit a Central Reserve Police Force vehicle in Avantipore area. After which three security personnel were injured. The incident was captured in the CCTV installed at the CRPF post.
