India’s youth are harnessing the power of science to better the planet: PM Modi

New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said India is brimming with enthusiasm in the field of science and technology and its youth are harnessing the power of science to better the planet.

Prime Minister Modi said this after meeting educationist and entrepreneur Vivek Wadhwa in Delhi.

Wadhwa took to Twitter after meeting PM Modi and said, “Wonderful meeting one of the world’s most brilliant leaders: @narendramodi @PMOIndia. Overwhelmed by his dedication to the people of India and the world and his understanding of science and technology.”

Vivek Wadhwa said that in his meeting with PM Modi, they discussed how India would lead the world in cancer treatment and transforming agriculture.

Tagging Mr Wadhwa’s tweet, Prime Minister Modi said on Twitter, “Pleased to meet you and discuss fascinating innovations in science and technology.” The Prime Minister said, “As you know, India is brimming with enthusiasm in these areas. Our youth are harnessing the power of science to better our planet.”
