Elephant orgy in Hazaribagh
Damodar Sav and Dhaneshwar Sav were among those killed in the attack. Both of them were residents of Khirgaon. The injured included Rinki Kumari, Pramila Kumari and others. On the other hand, another elephant has crushed a girl named Khushbu Kumari in Barkagaon of Hazaribagh. He has been admitted to Arogyam Hospital for treatment in a critical condition. It was said that from late night to Wednesday morning, the elephant wreaked havoc in Kud-Revali near the city’s railway station and then in Kheergaon and Kumhartoli areas.
The elephant crushed five people
Forest department officials say that the elephant came to the village after getting separated from the herd. Efforts are on to move him out of the city limits and into the forest. If you see, this is not the first time that an elephant has created terror in Hazaribagh and surrounding areas. But two years ago, several people were killed by a stray elephant near Union Minister Yashwant Sinha’s house in Demotand and also in a liquor store adjacent to the city.
