Imran Khan News: Imran Khan’s anti-government rallies will not be banned… Pakistan Supreme Court denies

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Supreme Court on Thursday rejected the government’s plea seeking a direction against the anti-government protests planned by former prime minister Imran Khan. However, the Supreme Court gave a free hand to the government to exercise control over law and order and cautioned that it would intervene if any party violated the court’s orders. A day earlier, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif had alleged that Imran Khan was trying to blackmail the government by threatening protests. He had said that the government of Pakistan will not come under the pressure of Imran Khan.

Pakistani Supreme Court refuses to order
Pakistan’s federal government had moved the Supreme Court last week to initiate contempt proceedings against Imran Khan’s party for violating a court order on May 25 regarding his party’s independence march. In the same petition, the government sought an order to restrain Khan from deteriorating the law and order situation through a planned demonstration march. A five-judge bench headed by Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Omar Ata Bandiyal heard the petition. The Court has refused to pass any order regarding the planned demonstration. However, this performance has not happened yet.

Pakistan government will use army
Imran Khan has not announced the date for Azadi March. It is believed that in the first week of November, the Azadi March can be announced in Islamabad. During this, the workers of Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf from all over Pakistan will reach Islamabad. Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has already warned of the use of the army against Imran Khan’s rallies.
