‘The View’ cohost Whoopi Goldberg has recently called out Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for claims of a ‘disastrous car chase’ by the paparazzi in New York. A spokesman for the Duke of Sussex said Prince Harry, Meghan and their mother were involved in a disastrous car chase at the hands of overly aggressive paparazzi and the chase lasted more than two hours.
During Thursday’s episode of ‘The View’, Goldberg cast doubt on the claims made about the car chase. It appears that he pointed out the New York traffic, which would have made such a chase impossible. Goldberg highlighted how she is unable to make it to the theater on time due to traffic.

“Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were followed by paparazzi while leaving the Ziegfeld Theater. Their spokesperson called it a ‘near-catastrophic car chase,'” Goldberg began.
“Others said it wasn’t bad,” she continued.
“But I think people in New York know that if it were possible to have a car chase in New York, we would all get to the theater on time,” she said, prompting laughter from the studio audience.
“But I think their spokesperson referred to something that you would normally refer to in Los Angeles. That’s where you have the chase. There you can move at a faster rate.’
Goldberg received support for her arguments from cohost Joy Behar. But Sunny Hostin disagrees with Goldberg’s comments on the matter.
Notably, Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, died in a high-speed car chase in 1997 while trying to escape the paparazzi pursuing her. Diana was in a black Mercedes-Benz car with her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed, and their driver when, while trying to avoid the paparazzi, it crashed into a pillar in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris, ultimately killing all three. happened.
