Gangs Of Wasseypur stars, Anurag Kashyap are divided as The Kapil Sharma Show team does their perfect mimicry

Popular cast of Gangs Of Wasseypur Huma Qureshi, Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pankaj Tripathi, Piyush Mishra, Zeeshan Quadri and others will be seen in the upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show. In a new promo, Kapil and his team are seen teasing the actors with hilarious mimicry of their characters from the show. They were also joined by Anurag Kashyap who directed the hit series. The new promo begins with Nawazuddin mimicking lines, leaving everyone including the actor in splits. This is followed by Pankaj Tripathi’s mimicry which makes him laugh out loud. Next is Piyush Mishra whose mimicry makes Nawazuddin rise from his seat.

Also in the clip, Kapil Sharma asks Nawazuddin if he was scared of romancing his Gangs Of Wasseypur co-star Huma Qureshi. Without saying much, the actor accepted and replied in a subtle tone, “Ha, laga tha (yes, I was scared).” He starts laughing and Kapil also joins him.

Reacting to the promo, a user wrote in the comments section, “Yeh episode block buster ho wala hai iss weekend (Yeh episode is going to be a blockbuster this weekend).” Another added, “My all time favourite… Gangs of Wasseypur.” Someone also said, “Tu mimicry show reh gaya hai (It has become a mimicry show).”

Gangs of Wasseypur Part 1 and Part 2 were released on Prime Video in 2012. It was based on the underlying power struggle, politics and vendetta between the coal mafia of Dhanbad and the three crime families in the region. Nawazuddin played the role of Faisal Khan and Huma played the role of his love interest Mohsina. Their love reel was one of the most talked-about parts of the films, which later spawned memes on the internet. Pankaj Tripathi appeared as Sultan Qureshi and Piyush Mishra appeared as Nasir Ahmed.

Besides him, the film also starred Richa Chadha, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Jameel Khan, Vineet Kumar Singh and Jaideep Ahlawat. The new episode of The Kapil Sharma Show is going to air this weekend on Sony TV.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui was last seen in Heropanti 2 alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria.
