Can work with India, UAE and USA
Umar said that geopolitics is ultimately determined by the best interests of a few, a model that historically is no longer the case. Now a country has to think about its best interests. He said that if UAE and India work together, it does not mean that India cannot work with America. All three of us can work together. The best example of this is the I2U2 (India-Israel-UAE-USA) group.
India’s importance lies in polarized world: Jaishankar
Last month, Jaishankar said that India actually matters in the current polarized world. Jaishankar said that India is largely known as the voice of the southern (hemisphere). Speaking to the media in September, the Indian foreign minister said, “There is no doubt that the United Nations General Assembly reflects the state of the world, which is particularly polarized at present.” In fact, India is important in the current state of the world. We are a bridge, we are a voice, we are a perspective, a medium.
