Actress Erica Fernandes has shifted from India and found a house in Dubai, and she admits that she took the move to get away from the feeling of stagnation that was seeping inside her.

It’s been months since she shifted her base to Dubai, and her time in the new place has been prosperous.
“With many factors, Dubai is a beautiful place. It is a global hub where we have different nationalities under one roof. We get to learn about different world cultures while living in one country. The infrastructure is phenomenal. My experience of the past few months as a resident has been excellent,” said the 30-year-old. “It’s always a learning process, and when you move to another country, it’s like learning all over again, and the adventure are very different”.
She may have shifted her base to Dubai but she wants to continue her professional career in India. In fact, she frequently travels to India for work.
“I’ve been doing it with ease so far, and I find it’s faster for me to get to the sets from Dubai to Mumbai than from Goregaon to Naigaon,” she says on a lighter note.
But does living in Dubai mean that she will refrain from taking up projects that require long-term commitment?
The actor said, “Never say never, but I made a conscious effort not to take a few long-term shoots because I wanted to explore different places, which had space to perform and which were shorter.” Show.
