Its intensity was measured at 5.1 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was 53 km east of Kathmandu. It came at a depth of 10 km below the ground. Earthquake tremors were felt in Nepal on Wednesday morning as well.
Nepal was hit by a strong 7.8 magnitude earthquake in April 2015, killing about 9,000 people and injuring 22,000. 8,00,000 houses and school buildings were also damaged by the earthquake. More than 8 million people were affected in that earthquake. Apart from the United Nations, many countries of the world had sent humanitarian aid.
After that earthquake, there were dead bodies everywhere in Nepal. Even body bags had to be ordered to lift the dead bodies. The earthquake also killed more than 76 people of India. The impact of this natural disaster was seen the most in 39 districts of Nepal. 20 lakh people from 11 districts were badly affected.
