Dalljiet Kaur and her fiance Nikhil Patel were spotted together for the first time by the paparazzi on Monday. The actor recently introduced Nikhil on Instagram and revealed that they will be tying the knot in March. Dalljiet was earlier married to Bigg Boss 16 contestant Shalin Bhanot before parting ways in 2015. On Monday, both Dalljiet and Nikhil were seen dressed in black. While she was in a black top and gray denim skirt, Nikhil was in a black tee and yellow shorts. Diljit shared a post on Instagram Stories on Tuesday which revealed that the two spent the weekend in Goa before Nikhil left for Kenya.
Diljit also shared a romantic picture from their pre-wedding photoshoot on Tuesday. She is seen in a black dress and is hugging Nikhil, who is in a black suit and kissing her on the cheek.
Diljit shared her wedding plans in an Instagram post over the weekend. Sharing a candid picture of herself and Nikhil lying in bed, she wrote, “The stars aligned and fate played a part in bringing our hearts and souls together. Our journey to forever begins now. A new life, a new country (Kenya in Africa), a new beginning. Together. Maktoob – It is written…”
Many of her industry friends wished her a second marriage in the comments section. Dalljiet has a son named Jaydan from his first marriage while Nikhil has a daughter, Ariana.
Talking about how her son has taken up his second marriage, Diljit told ETimes, “Jayden is very mature for his age. I have dated before, and he used to ask me if I am ready for marriage. I am considering a boy. He has always been longing for a father. But I needed to make sure that I gave him a good father and myself a good husband because it is a matter of our life. However, When she met Nick (Nikhil Patel) for the first time a few months ago, she addressed him as her father.
Daljeet rose to fame in 2006 with the lead role in the TV show Kulvadhu. He married his co-star Shalin Bhanot and the couple had a son, Jayden, in 2014. He won the dance reality show Nach Baliye in 2009. He also participated in Bigg Boss 13 in 2019.
