According to the Defense Ministry, the soldiers of both the countries retreated from the incident site within a few minutes. After the incident, the Indian Army Commander and the Chinese Commander held a flag meeting as per the prescribed procedure, so that a peaceful atmosphere is maintained.
It may be mentioned here that there are some areas near the LAC in the Tawang sector in Arunachal Pradesh where China is illegally laying claim. Indian soldiers in this area are giving a jaw-dropping response to any move by China on the LAC.
It may be mentioned here that treachery by Chinese troops on LAC is not new. Earlier in the year 2020, China had carried out a similar incident in Galwan Valley. At that time, the Chinese soldiers treacherously attacked the Indian soldiers who were guarding the posts. In which 20 Indian soldiers were martyred. While many Chinese soldiers were also killed. There has been a trend since 2006 in areas connected to LAC in Tawang sector in Arunachal.
In October too, India intercepted Chinese troops
It may be mentioned here that Indian troops stopped the Chinese troops in this area in October last year as well. Around 200 People’s Liberation Army jawans wanted to come to LAC in Arunachal Pradesh. Even then Indian soldiers stopped them.
