Eyewitnesses said the out-of-control truck rammed the auto coming from Kheria in front of Dighri petrol pump and Gera went towards Bari. The dead bodies were lying on the Katihar Gerbari main road. As soon as the incident was reported, a crowd of villagers gathered in front of the petrol pump. The main road was blocked by villagers setting fire to it. Kotha police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
